The Day of the Air force and Air defense

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Miloš Vučević and Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilović, attended the ceremony marking the Day of the Air Force and Anti-Aircraft Defense at the House of Aviation in Zemun.

Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense, Lieutenant General Duško Žarković emphasized that few countries in the world can boast of a jubilee like 100 years of the national aviation industry, which is celebrated in 2023.

The central ceremony was attended by members of the collegium of the Minister of Defense and the Chief of the General Staff, representatives of local and religious communities and numerous guests who, after the ceremony, visited the exhibition "100 years of the national aviation industry" in the "Ikar" gallery. The curator of the Aeronautical Museum, Ivan Vujić, who is also a member of the author's team of the exhibition "100 years of the national aviation industry", took the attendees through the exhibition. 

The exhibition lasts until February 19, 2024 and can be seen every working day between 12:00 and 19:00. Entrance is free.
