Photo library
The photo library fund is one of the most numerous collections in the Aeronautical Museum, whose objects are kept in the form of glass photographic plates, negatives and photographs. Photography as a specific visual document represents a kind of testimony of time.
The Photo Library collection represents the national cultural and historical heritage whose fund is divided into military and civilian - which include different time periods and entities, and shows the history of the industrial development of military and civil aviation, photographs taken during the First and Second World Wars, NATO agression on FR Yugoslavia, as well as famous historical figures in the history of military and civil aviation.
Many photos from this fund are already known to the public because they are found as illustrations in books, textbooks, historical works, newspaper articles and feuilletons dealing with this topic.
