Philately
In the desire to show and popularize the importance of the history of the development of aviation and aviation industry and technology as much as possible, postage stamps were printed all over the world with motifs of aviation and the world of aeronautics, with special reference to important historical dates, personalities and events.
The philately collection of the Aeronautical Museum includes hundreds of regular and commemorative postage stamps with motifs of military and civil aviation from the 20th and 21st centuries. The richness of the collection consists of postage stamps of the airlines of Yugoslavia, the Soviet Union, the United States of America, Greece, Cuba, Australia, as well as other countries of the world.
The collection also holds postage stamps of various motifs, as well as envelopes, carnets, maximum tickets, first day envelopes and postcards with postage stamps. The collection of philately includes philatelic magazines, catalogs and other professional literature.
