AN/TPS-1D Radar
The surveillance ground radar of the American manufacturer "Westinghouse" is equipped with an electronic system for indicating moving targets on the screen, while constant reflections are not displayed. By installing it on a vehicle, it can also be used in a mobile version, and the radar antenna can be moved away from the transmitter up to 45 meters. The radar includes a generator for electricity, and to protect it from the rain, the entire system is covered with a tent, while the other part houses the tablet for displaying the situation in the air and the center of communication.
The Yugoslav Air Force began introducing this type of radar into its arsenal in 1953 as part of Western Military Aid. The last examples were withdrawn from use in 1984.
