Utva 66 H

Since the beginning of the Yugoslav aviation industry, the Utva factory in Pančevo has created a wide range of aircrafts from which the most important is the multi-purpose aircraft - Utva 66. This model was developed as a military aircraft for the training of pilots and parachutists. The Utva 66 was used as a light reconnaissance aircraft intended for landing on difficult terrain. Civilian versions were used in commercial and sport aviation, for communication, as rescue and sport aircraft.

The first version of the Utva 66H appeared in 1968.
Skis, water floats or wheels could be mounted on the landing gear. Along with 75 examples of the basic variant, 4 hydro versions of the aircraft with floats were also produced. The last examples were retired from military service in 1999.

The collection of the Aeronautical Museum has the example of Utva 66 which was built as the third prototype.
The exhibited Utva 66H is one of a total of four versions converted into a wheeled land aircraft. At the end of operational use at Batajnica airport, the aircraft was handed over to the Aeronautical Museum.
